60 miles north of San Francisco just west of Sonoma county's beautiful wine country is Clubhouse Studios.
Located in the heart of Santa Rosa, Clubhouse's well tuned & atmospheric studio was designed by Don Kruse who was a sound engineer for Hyde Street studios in San Francisco before he founded and designed this great sounding studio space. With 24 and 32 track capabilities, Clubhouse also boasts full time engineer Jane Clark Uralli, a 13 year veteran of Motown, who earned 20 gold and multi-platinum records as a staff engineer/mixer. Jane also worked on numerous projects as an independent contractor before joining Clubhouse as chief engineer. Engineer/producer/arranger Phil Hirsch, with numerous projects as well, is also available on a consultation basis.
In addition to convenient parking ( with easy equipment access) Studio A has a separate lounge & small kitchen area. Our pleasant location next to Juilliard park (originally Luther Burbank's home and gardens) is walking distance to Santa RosaÍs tree lined Downtown area.

Studio A's Spacious 21x 24 foot main room is perfect for any recording occasion be it a live band situation or solo artist work; featuring full isolation booth capabilities as well as outstanding acoustic sound. Both the booth and the main room have been sonically tested and adjusted to provide a lively but relatively flat acoustic response. Acoustic design consultant Salter & Associates, San Francisco, California.
Studio A's control room features a unique design found in some of the most recognized studios in the world. It has a sand filled floor which minimizes sound from reverberating in the room.
This unusually beautiful sounding studio, with its proven engineering staff, is capable of producing unique, quality recordings. The size & configuration of the booth and main rooms combined produce a wonderfully creative working studio environment. Check it out!
